Blue in all its shades is a timeless colour that has always inspired us. This year we dared proposing unprecedented colours and materials, combining wonderful shades. Today, we took some time off to look around and study some new models.

I had an epiphany: last night I dreamt of an ovoid and a river of thoughts started to pour through my mind…the cosmic egg the world originated from. The egg as the symbol of absolute perfection and completeness.
Why do all almost-perfect things have a spherical or, rather, ovoid shape?

We went to Ecuador to discover Panamá hats, whose name originates from the fact that thousands of them were imported to Panama to be used by the workers that were building the Canal. We went to Cuenca, in the Montecristi canton, to see the best production plants....

Humprey Bogart is perhaps the icon when one thinks of the sex appeal of a man wearing a hat.  Because hats are not for everyone. A hat is a travel companion and it should be worn and used as such.
This was a necessary introduction to talking about one of the favourite objects of one of humankind’s greatest legends...

A rhyming couplet incipit in the narrative style of  Dr Seuss, a writer who played a great educational role and really knew a lot about hats! His Bartholomew Cubbins owns 500 of them, and Ted Geisel himself collected hats and owned some very peculiar ones, which we like to imagine as they come to life from his drawings...
